#34 Cauliflower Pakoda

Another known, tasty and easy go dish for your reference and recap. Cauliflower Pakoda is one of those tempting grab & eat snacks that creates a lot of funny table fights. Hope you too had such memorable moments on your table.

Ingredients:

Cauliflower – 1 (Small)

Onion -1

Green Chilli -2

Asafoetida – a pinch

Besan Flour – 1 cup

Corn Flour -1/2 cup

Lemon – ½

Oil (for deep fry)

Ginger & Garlic paste -1 tsp

Red Chilli Powder- 1 tbsp

Coriander chopped (for sprinkle)

Salt – as needed

Water

Steps:

  1. Boil the water with high flame
  2. In a bowl, add the cleaned cauliflower pieces and pour hot water.
  3. Leave it for 5 to 7 minutes.

Note:

Above 3 steps are good habits to clean the vegetables. This would help reduce the impact of chemicals and bacteria exposed on the vegetables

4.drain the water

5. Add fine chopped onion+chopped green chilli+ginger garlic paste+chopped coriander+red chilli powder+besan flour+corn flour+Asafoetida+salt+lemon juice.

6.Mix them all well.

7.Add little water to make it solid.

8.Take a pan and add oil.

9.Deep fry the cauliflower mix pieces.

10.serve hot with mint-coriander chutney.
