Carrot Burfi - Another Simple healthy and a delicious sweet that can be on your unique Deepavali Sweet Jewels.
This requires very little ingredients and require no planning-just do it when you feel like 🙂
Carrrot - 1 cup ( grated)
Coconut - 1 cup ( grated)
Ghee - 3 tbsp
Sugar - 2 cup
Cardamon - 1 pinch
Take a heavy bottomed pan and heat it by adding 3 tbsp of ghee.
Then add 1 cup of grated carrot and 1 cup of grated coconut.
Stir the contents and fry for 5 minutes in low flame until you get off with the raw carrot and coconut smell.
Now add 2 cups of sugar.
Keep stirring in medium flame.
After few minutes, you can observe that the contents starts sliding over the pan and get thickens. The ghee would start oozing out from the contents.
Now add powdered cardamon.
Now the contents have become a slightly molten state, pour it in a greased tray ( you can grease with ghee or butter).
Once the contents become to a warm state , you can cut the contents with a Knife to your preferred Burfi shape.
After 15 - 20 minutes, Look what !!! A delicious ,yummy & attractive Burfi is ready to grab!!.
