Tomato-Carrot Soup is a healthy and easy soup variety.This variant carries an unique sweetness from Carrot along with Onions. Tomatoes contribute a slight Soupy tanginess.
This soup serving fits for all seasons.
Ingredients:
- Carrots - 2 Medium sized.
- Tomatoes - 2 Medium sized.
- Onion -1 Medium sized.
- Garlic - 3 to 4 cloves
- Jeera Powder - 1/2 tbsp.
- Black Pepper - 3 pinches.
- Butter - 1 tbsp.
- Cummin powder-1 tbsp.
- Salt - as needed.
- Water - 2 cups.
Method:
- Rinse the Veggies first with fresh water.
- Peel the Carrots,garlic and onion .
- Chop the veggies to get ready for steam cooking.
- In a pressure cooker, add the veggies , chopped garlic and water.
- Pressure cook for 2 to 3 whistles. Then keep aside to get the pressure down.
- Once the vegetables become warm, blend with a hand blender or using any other electronic blender until the veggies become smooth.
- Heat 1/2 tbsp of Butter and cummin powder with salt.
- Stir for few seconds and then transfer the blended veggie smoothie into this pan.
- Sim cook the tomato carrot soup for 3 minutes.
- Add Black Pepper powder and 1/2 tbsp of butter and serve it hot.
